This is another environmental development project supported by the Bank to restore coastal marine life resources since 2009 until 2021. Its significant objective is to strengthen the local fishing communities by supporting the placement of artificial reefs, both in the form of coconut leaves and concrete blocks sized 1.5 x 1.5 x 1.5 meters to help restore and conserve aquatic animal resources as well as the environment along the Thai coastline to be healthy habitats and refuges for marine creatures. Moreover, it helps prevent the entry of the trawling boats and bottom trawling that destroys marine animal habitat and local fisheries The support for environmental development projects can be divided according to the environment conditions in each area as follows:

The project aims to instill a sense of conservation and restore blue crab resources. It involves a group of volunteers releasing gravid female blue crabs to stay in rearing cages until they spawn. Eggs are then released to the sea so that baby crabs grow up to replace caught crabs, after which the female crabs are sold. This project has turned the crisis into a sustainable production system for the well-being of communities and all fishermen. GSB supports the project in two ways: Developing a hatchery and building rearing cages in the sea. One gravid female blue crab, if properly preserved, can bring about at least 800 blue crabs to the sea.

The project has been implemented in 14 provinces, along the Gulf of Thailand and Andaman Sea, with 106 communities as follows:

Bamboo walls are built to prevent coastal erosion especially on tidal flats. They are placed in a line, no more than 50 meters from the shore to slow down the intensity of waves and allow for precipitation to occur so that mangrove forests can be planted. In addition, they serve as a breeding ground for mussels. This project is implemented at Ban Pak Klong Pramong Phanthainorasing Subdistrict, Mueang Samut Sakhon District, Samut Sakhon Province.
