Government Savings Bank Museum, an educational source of the next generation was established to commemorate H.M the King Vajiravudh who set up Government Savings Bank and those who followed the royal policy for the Bank business’s development as well as maintaining values of its evolutionary progress. The Bank collects valuable items reflecting its history from the past to the present, i.e., business operations, materials, equipment/tools used in the operation and important documents in order that the next generation and people who are interested in can study about Thai Savings Bank which is a good way to create awareness to love and cherish Government Savings Bank.

The establishment of Government Savings Bank Museum began with a study and collection of data in 1990 when M.R. Chandraramsirichoke Jantaratat was the director of the Bank

The Museum was opened on April 1, 1992. Mr. Wiboon Angsanan, the Director of Government Savings Bank presided over the opening ceremony. It is located on the 7th floor of the 72nd Anniversary Building, Government Savings Bank’s Head Office. The museum is open to the general public during business hours and on special occasions. The establishment of the museum was accomplished with the cooperation of the GSB executives, officers, former officers and the general public that help bring valuable items and documents related to the Bank to display in the museum.
