The Goverment has a policy to encourage the Thai people and juveniles to develop reading awareness and strong sense of learning and new initiative advancement such as IT, occupation, business competition and the rapidly changing economic social and political situations and law. These will improve their knowledge, attitudes, thoughta and understanding of living and finally leading to a better quality of life and sustainable growth of the nation.
AS the bank for people, therefore, planning for "GSB Learning Center for Community" project has been implemented. The center will be established to be the information and knowledge center for local people to search for information and create a feeling that the center belongs to the community.

| GSB Learning Center for Community will be established in 2 different types in 28 areas:- |

"Learning Corner" will be set up in 14 GSB branches under the supervision of Branch Operation 1-3 and GSB Regional offices 4-14. |

"Learning Center for Community" will be founded in 14 community areas under the supervision of Branch Operation 1-3 and GSB Regional offices 4-14. |

| Two ypes of GSB Learning Center for Community Types:- |

Learning Corner
- Space Partial service areas of the bank will be modified into an L-shape with an area of 9 sq.m. Criteria for branch selection are its branch size, number of village fund's members and social credits..
-Learning Materials consist of newspaper, journal, and books about economics, business management, career development, computer, sports and children books. |

Learning Center for Community
- Space, there will be a meeting between GSB and the community to specify the suitable area in the particular community.
- Learning Materials consists of several kinds of materials including books, e-learning media. There will also be a space for displaying local products in the bank. |

| Learning Corner Management |

Learning corner is open during the working hours of GSB branchs.

In care of the supervisory, branch. The branch manager randomly assigns 1 officer to take care of the corner. GSB's branch manager assigns a staff to take charge of the corner which is under its supervision. |

The officer who is in charge of the Learning Corner will be organizing newspaper, journals and books in the corner during the operating hours. at each branch the registration and material management manual will be provided by GSB. |

Learning Corner's users are bank customers and general public who desires to use the services. |

The officer of the branch can also use the services during non-operating hours. He / She is not allowed to take possession of any learning materials in the corner. |

Learning materials can not be brought out of the certer. |
